Laxmi Exports began its operations with exporting Iron ore fines to major countries in the world. It quickly moved to capitalize on every emerging business opportunity, becoming Andhra Pradesh’s leading exporter to perform exports of iron ore. The company also invested in a diverse shipping operations like stevedoring and C and F from A.P’s major ports and gained a huge reputation in shipping operations form the port of Visakhapatnam. Then, in 2012, Laxmi exports began its Granite operations, Mining business by setting up the mines with a full fledged and India’s most high capacity imported machinery and highly skilled labor in Tekkali, Srikakulam district a coastal town in the western Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The company went on to build up direct export operations from Paradip port and Haldia ports as well. Throughout since 2012 with the gradual liberalization of the Indian economy, Laxmi exports seized every opportunity that came its way. It diversified its shipping fleet, started Granite mining operations and production, Laxmi Exports also entered into the construction business helped the company build most of its business assets with a joint venture with Sri Lakshmi Constructions. The 21st century for Laxmi exports has been all about consolidating and growing the businesses, with mergers and acquisitions, new revenue streams and strategic geographical expansion.
